Wild Luwak Coffee

About Wild Civet Arabica Coffee Beans

Our Luwak coffee sourced from wild plantations is regarded as more ethical since the civets roam freely in their natural environment and handpick the finest coffee cherries. This freedom, along with their diverse diet, contributes to a flavor profile that is often richer and more complex. While it is rarer and comes with a higher price tag, many coffee enthusiasts favor it for its superior quality and ethical sourcing.

Luwak coffee is known for its distinctive aroma and flavor. Unlike regular coffee, civet coffee has a less bitter taste and is characterized by a syrupy, smooth richness with hints of chocolate and jungle notes. The remarkable balance of body, acidity, and sweetness creates a delightful flavor that is easy to enjoy, without causing any gastrointestinal issues.

This coffee is the most expensive due to its production process, which involves the excretion of wild Luwak in the jungle. These animals instinctively select the best coffee cherries, resulting in a unique flavor enhanced by enzymes and fermentation in the civet’s intestines. Additionally, its limited production—only a few hundred kilograms—is what makes it so rare and sought after.
